Intro To Tracking

Location: Gallant, Alabama
This 1-day class is designed to teach the student the basics of human tracking. The student will learn to identify track indicators, dynamics of a foot print, rules of tracking, lost spoor procedures, individual tracking techniques, and tracking team formations in regards to search and rescue.
GEAR REQUIREMENTS:
Hiking boots (broken in), cap or bandana, small day pack, clothing appropriate for the season, water container, rain gear (jacket or poncho), lunch or snacks easily prepared in the field.
COVID-19 STATEMENT
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the participation in group activities in which social distancing is difficult, if not impossible, is likely to result in the increased chance of exposure to the virus, which may increase the likelihood of contracting the disease. You also understand that there is the possibility that you may transmit the disease to others, even if you do not show symptoms of the disease.
